Home sales slide continues in July; median price down

The Orlando Regional Realtor Association on Monday reported a lower median sales price for July, but sales still are slow compared to a year ago.

The median price for a home in the Orlando metropolitan statistical area slid to $250,000 last month, a 1.92 percent decline from the $254,900 price in July 2006, the association reported. The growth of the area's home inventory also slowed from 460 new homes on the market in June to only 95 added in July.
